PhantomBigStu
anyone know if there are aftermarket ones, the ones in the revell kit are appalling, can't get the rails to stay attached even with superglue
Nigel Bunker
Try Hasegawa Weapons set (I can't check the number as I am at work) - one has sidewinders plus launch rails as I remember. Hopefully somebody can give the number of the set.

Van
anyone know if there are aftermarket ones, the ones in the revell kit are appalling, can't get the rails to stay attached even with superglueperhaps an issue with the glue? Unless the pylons have special physical properties that resist adhesives?
PhantomBigStu
isssues the design van, the entire sidewinder rail sticks to pylon by two of the tinest attachment points imaginable, have actually got them to stick but the alignment ain't great and it looks awful up close, not one of revells finest moments. Fernando
Hi, PhantomBigStu, Yep, it is a design flop. Probably you'd have a chance if you glue the rails in turns to the still detached pylon (that is, before gluing it to the wing, and having it resting flat on the opposite side) , waiting for the glue to set. Certainly, when I built one, I bombed it up. Gluing the TER to the pylon was no mean feat, nevertheless. FErnando
