The wooksta V2.0
I soooo want one of those!
Learstang
That is tempting, but I may wait (forever?) for an IM one. Or not. Regards, Jason
The wooksta V2.0
TBH, I've an old Formaplane one hidden away somewhere but definitely want this. As soon as you're got it, Revell will probably announce one.
bentwaters81tfw
£99! I have a Formaplane one as well, but I've seen thicker toilet tissue.
The wooksta V2.0
£99? Not that bad a price. Planet would charge similar or more for something the same size - I paid £98 in 2001 for their Ju 290 - and Magna's Ashton is a little over £80. Wonder if we can twist Mel's arm to do a Tudor? Admiral Puff
WANT!!! And a Hermes would be nice ...
tonyot
I do so very much want one of these but my other half will do her nut if I pay £99 for a kit so I will very reluctantly have to try my best to resist! Oh Bum! Tony
general melchett
Well come Hell or high water I'm getting one and speaking personally having paid almost twice as much for several Eastern European kits recently the price seems pretty reasonable. The Hastings is just such a great looking aircraft and I have very fond memories of watching them trundle overhead on their way into Radlett as a nipper.... Edge
The website refers to the kit having several decal options, but does anyone know what they are?
Aeronut
Seeing as Airfix's Jeep comes the crash pans it seems a shame not to hang two of them on the outside of one of these Hastings

Tiger331
Oh Dear !……Another one I will need to add to my list. Given that I have 'vowed' to model as many aircraft as possible with which I have had a connection with in the past, the Hastings will have to join the stash in due course. I can vaguely remember being medevaced as a 'scaley brat' from El Adem (Libya) to Akrotiri in one of these in 1966. It was not a journey I would care to have repeated although this may have had something to do with my then medical condition but I do recall the characteristic smell of aircraft of that era (which seemed to disappear after the Canberra era) and the rather spartan WWII-era appearance of the interior. Thankfully, my return trip to Libya was in a shiny new British United Airways BAC1-11 that had been chartered by the MOD for the regular NEAF trooping flight between the two locations - those were the days !. stever219
I am lucky enough to have had a flight in TG517 (now at Newark) in 1974; she served as a C. Mk. 1, Met. Mk. 1 and T. Mk. 5, so that could be three that I'll need. So many kits, so little time.....
Edge
Thanks Homebee. I misread the website and substituted alternative tail plane parts for multiple decal options.... Still, it does mention some of the users of the Hastings in the description, which has gotten me thinking about a Coastal Command aircraft. dambuster
Looks great, however can't help wondering if it would benefit from a couple of wing spars... Peter
The wooksta V2.0
I'm thinking that the spare tailplanes would be rather handy for the Formaplane one in me stash.
Radleigh
A lovely looking kit, very tempted.... Maybe a Belfast is on the to-do list too... Fingers crossed.
bentwaters81tfw
I'm thinking that the spare tailplanes would be rather handy for the Formaplane one in me stash. I seriously doubt the Formaplane one is strong enough to handle the resin tailfeathers. One reason mine has never progressed beyond cutting out is the sheer flimsiness of the plastic. stevehnz
I'd love one of these to add to my list of RNZAF to dos, but at £99.00 x 2.3 for the exchange rate, its unlikely to happen. I really must get of my backside & get a Welsh models 1/144 version. Steve.
