JohnT
Thought you guys might like to watch how the National Museum of Scotland have rebuilt the early glider made by Percy Pilcher. I had not realised there was an outside chance that he might just have neaten the Wrights brothers to it had his admittedly under powered engine not died on him on the day of the flight. Instead he took up his Hawk flyer again instead in bad weather and the tail came off killing him in the crash. All around 1896 and ahead of the curve All here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-35316218
