Graham Boak
I suspect an Armstrong Whitworth Albemarle, which began life at Bristils.

Graham Boak
Sounds like fun but it won't play for me. Something for one of our resident Wiffers?

I am thinking more of an OOB build mod'd with the tail. but not sure what tail section is easy to find in kit form to 'mate' Cheers Jerry
noelh
To me the fins look like to be from the standard Blenheim. Which makes sense when you think about it as they obviously used a real crashed Blenheim. For a model, just get a spare fin and use the original tailplane and with a bit work on the rear fuselage and you have your 'Marlborough'. The film itself is an interesting bit of nostalgia. Love the bit where the crew are heading off on leave stopping for a 'beverage' at a local hostelry. I wonder if it still exists? As for the 'Marlborough' well no wonder it faded into obscurity when the tail kept breaking. Love to see a model of it.
brewerjerry
Hi Ideal I like that idea, it will use up two of my old frog/airfix blenheims makes sense as well in the 'real' mock up they would likely have taken the easiest option. cheers Jerry Edited January 15, 2016 by brewerjerry
