Speedman
OK, a very late start for this one but I do have an excuse... It was an eBay bargain and I only got it in the post on Monday! I know it's 90% built and in primer but it's so well engineered that I had it together in under half an hour! This is truly an amazing kit! Barely any seams to deal with, it helped that the fuselage is split as upper and lower rather than left and right, and absolutely no need for filler. I had so much fun putting it together I really did forget to take some photos, I promise I'll get some as I paint it.
trickyrich
WOW that is quick, but she does look like a very nice model and judging by the photos you're right about the seams! She will look nice beside the F-20's, a nice splash of colour!
Speedman
A few coats of Halfords Appliance White... And some decals. Lots more to do but it's a start.

exdraken
as the X-29 was a bit before my (airplane enthusiast) time, I hardly know anything about it! looks great though! nice decaling!
Speedman
I made a few touch-ups to the decals where they weren't quite long enough and left gaps at the nose, intake splitter and both upper and lower rear fuselage. After that I gave it a light grey oil pin wash to enhance the panel lines. Wheels and doors on.
trickyrich
that pin wash certainly makes the model stand out!
Speedman
Finished! I'll get some proper photos done in the next few days. Here it is with the 4 F-20s I've also been building for the group build. Quad F-20 build.

azureglo
My friend, you must have the dexterity of a Swiss watchmaker and the eyes of a raptor to make these exquisite little replicas, I struggle with 1/72: Kudos to your craftsmanship. trickyrich
as I mentioned with your F-20 build, beautiful work and especially with the scale you like to build! As mentioned it's always great to have you and your wee gems along on these GB's.
