exdraken
To be honest, it's not much worse than when you do Patrouille de France or Diablo Rouges Fouga Maigster/Alpha Jets. Just use masking tape, take your time, and maybe make a mask too. Can you do us all a favour and keep a list of what paints you use for the model? As you're the first here to brave it - and we all want to make one i don't think that decals would be much easier, especially in 1/48.... I will try to do my best with mentioning colors ~ Revell 374 and 302 for the instruments

exdraken
resin ejection seats Martin Baker MK10 form renaissance-flight ar a bit better than the kit supplied ones.... although I think I will close the canopy. that seems a bit easier with the flimsy, wobbly vaform canopy... and it better represents and depicts the aircraft's nice shape!

exdraken
canopy masked and glued on: I will try to use Tamiya rattle can black first time as a base for the shiny finish lets see how that works!
exdraken
befor painting, better do something about the stabs: drilled holes and used a metalic rod masking paintwork will be substantially easier that way as they are removable
exdraken
TS-14 tamiya rattel can put to good? use: some small imperfections, but nothing sandpaper would not deal with cheers, thanks for feedback!
exdraken
after some break, on the prowl again! I had to repair some imperfections only visible in bright daylight, especially on the rudder/tail and back- joints... her she is again primed with Tamiya rattle can black:
exdraken
additionally I decided on her future dress, ... I will do a Spanish eagle, a Patrulla Aguila for the red I chose Revell's 31,34 and 36 34 being the closest to my eye. but, the black oprimer was quite strong, so I had quite some problems with getting a cover! and that with the aggressive red color.... so for a second layer I used the lighter 31 and mixed it with 34. much less thinner as well. here already with the 2nd layer: lets see how this looks in daylight! I work form outside to inside, maybe that eases masking a bit! thanks for comments, regards, Werner
