russ c Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Hi everyone, Just finished my other `Chinese` P-40 that I was building along side my recently posted AVG Hawk 81 Hasegawas 1/48 P-40N completed to represent; `Sam` of the Chinese American Composite Wings 5th FG Flown by Col John A Dunning, Chihkiang, China 1944 Built pretty much out of the box, with just some seat belts, brake pipes and aerial wires added. Decals were from an old Cutting Edge set. Hope you enjoy, thanks for looking Cheers Russ 43
Reini78 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I see you changed your Asian topic from Indochina to China :-) like your tiger also this is a great looking model, a pity Hasegawa doesn´t do early P-40s... 1
stevej60 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Another superb build Russ,I particularly like the tonal changes on the upper surfaces, and as John said not an often seen variant. 1

Nachtwulf Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 The P-40 may not have been one of the best fighters , but it was one of the best looking fighters ! Great job ! You did a wonderful job blending all those separate panels that Hasegawa used to make it a multi mark kit ! 1
Andy Dyck Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Don't know why I had this perfect model not on my radar!!! Excellent as usual! Very nice!!!!!! Andy 1
