And weren't four out of the six in the photo subsequently killed in the fighting that followed before Iwo Jima was finally liberated?

FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS - or should I say "superb alternative"

very nice and a great choice of historical themed subject to reproduce.

I've seen the film and needless to say, it was a shame that so many of the flag bearers didn't make it through to see the end of the war
