The chute housing in the kit is a newer RBT one. This kit is actually RB with RBT intakes and chute housing. Homebee
A dedicated MiG-25RBT correct resin nose set is in design by Cold War Studio. "It's not only the bump. The outline of the nose should be curved while the nose of the kit is straight." Source: https://www.facebook.com/ColdWarStudiodetails/posts/1205070102922856 V.P. Homebee
Looks like there's another nose correction set in design by Haneto. Sources: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235014400-icm-148-mig-25rbt-red-46-47th-grap-2001/ http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/289940-148-mig-25rbt-foxbat-b-by-icm-released/&do=findComment&comment=2840223 Quote I just finished correcting the nose area. Please be noticed that not ONLY the bulge you need to add, but also you need to flat the right side light panel to smooth, then add some panel lines with rivets. Pictures could tell more easily: After several rounds of reshape/sanding, scribe the panel lines then spray the surfacer for check. To be honest I'm still not satisfied enough about the result since the bulge seems too narrow. But since it's underneath, I chose to live with it somehow. V.P. ICMF
I've just come to the realization that CAD has ruined me for hand-drilled rivets. Looks really nice but... gaaaahhh!!! They're not mathematically perfect!!!

Looks really nice but... gaaaahhh!!! They're not mathematically perfect!!! On its way from Sofia, ordered yesterday. I'm not looking at it like a coin collector might, but somebody who's building the ICM kit and it's a big improvement from what I can see, esp. with the masks and IP film. I might subdue a few mad riveting excesses but, apart from the profile correction, I see it acting as a handy nose weight. The intakes-to-rest of assembly on this kit are a bit of a bit**, but "we're getting there" Great kit though. Wondering what Revell are going to do by way of changes (?). Tony take your time and test fit - maybe try some different approach... they actually fit splendidly and more or less click into place! changes by Revell? I would not expect any apart from decals and boxart and box... ICB is to bring out an RB in autumn... here I expect a different parabrake housing and maybe shortend intake lips
ABeck
changes by Revell? I would not expect any apart from decals and boxart and box... For the re-box a correct RBT nose is on demand. Same for the Ju 88 A-4 cowlings !
Muzz
I think the only changes Revell will make, if any, will be colour schemes, no new plastic.

That comes unexpected, but is very very welcome of course!!! While we are at it, Revell could also re-do the construction sequence....
