During the day today the F-86 Sabre departed following Cockpit-Fest and work is now progressing with the reapplication of markings on the Shackleton upper surfaces and fuselage; new photos in this gallery! NAM Updater Posted July 5, 2016 Author Share Posted July 5, 2016 Work on upper surfaces of Shackleton WR977 has now been completed and the scaffolding has been removed; a strategy for under-wing and the remainder of fuselage will be implemented soon! Further details of the excellent work on WR977 can be found in here! Everyone at the museum sends a huge thank you to #WR977PaintingTeam for completing the first part of this work in 12 weeks & 1 hour (don’t ask!) – more updates shortly!! We are looking for information for a book that we hope to publish and details about what we are looking for can be found in here.
