jrlx
Dear Fellow Modellers, This was my first year of participation in BM and I can't praise highly enough the warm welcome, support and camaraderie from all fellow BMers I had the pleasure to interact with. Thanks to all I did participate in a few GBs: Phantom II, Battle of Britain, Tiger Moth. Unfortunately, I didn't managed to finish any of my entries in time, so I'm trying to finish a few in the KUTA GB currently running. I have 8 unfinished builds now... Anyway, I did finish three models in 2015, all built outside GBs. Here they are, with links to the RFIs and WIPs (when available). 1. Airfix Grumman Duck 1/72, Alaska, USAF, 1948 A very old tool (1960s). My first use of Alclad paints. RFI here 2. Revell Messerschmitt Bf 109 G10 1/72 - Defence of Berlin Some scratch building, my first use of resin exhausts and my first mottled camouflage. Also my first WIP thread in BM. WIP here and RFI here. 3. Academy Spitfire Mk XIVc - D-Day camouflage 1/72 Almost completely OOB but with some scribing of panel lines and painted D-Day stripes. WIP here and RFI here. Thanks for looking Cheers Jaime

jrlx
Thanks Dermot As the Bf 109 was my first attempt at a mottled camouflage, I was also quite pleased with it!

jrlx
Thanks Houston, you're being extremely kind Right now I'm finishing Wick's Bf 109 and Red Baron's Triplane in the KUTA GB. After that I'll try to finish my British Phantoms while I start my builds in the upcoming Made in Britain GB, P-47 GB and Hurricane GB. And I still have to finish the Do17, Defiant and Tiger Moth. I intend to participate also in the following GBs: Helicopter Red storm rising Eastern front Mediterranean and North Africa Airliners Ju 88 FW 190 P-51 Mustang I'm being too optimistic, of course... jrlx
Lovely work there, the 109 in particular stands out. Thanks! The109 is also one of my favourites I really like the Duck a lot, I shall have to pick that kit up next time i'm at a show. Thanks! The Duck turns out quite nice but it's an old tool and has a lot of fit problems, raised panel lines and gigantic rivets.
