Tim Moff
Decals completed: Now all sealed in with a shiny X22/MLT coat....not sure on weathering....most pics seem to show a very clean aircraft (apart from the paint which did fade) and a pin wash aint gonna work as the lines are raised! Maybe just some exhaust stains, touch of oil streaks etc...any advice/ideas appreciated!
Col.
I'd say you're heading in the right direction with keeping this one clean Tim.
Tim Moff
Some very subtle weathering with exhausts and oil streaks, otherwise clean.... Final assembly with the Aes, slippers, pods etc..... With her 'distant cousin' !! Enjoyable build, with a limited kit (plus limited builder skills!) that still shows the elegance of 'Britain's last bomber', especially in this 1960's Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm livery........
David Womby
Well that turned out just great. Well done. David
Tomoshenko
Oh yes. So many GBs and threads that tickle my fancy at the moment I'm struggling to keep up with em. Caught up with this - best scheme for a Bucc, and fine enjoyable build all round.

TonyTiger66
I just read this whole build in one session I love Frog kits and also FAA aircraft. This really is an attractive scheme on an attractive aircraft. Very nicely done! Best regards Tony
Tim Moff
Thanks all for the kind comments....makes me want to hunt down a 1/48 Airfix kit although they are meant to be a pig (I have the RAF S2B in the stash)......hoping Kinetic or someone may do a new tool? PattheCat
hoping Kinetic or someone may do a new tool? You're not the only one. Still if I could do what you did with an oldie, I wouldn't wish so much for newly tooled kits. Turned out real nice. Love that color scheme, it really fits the buc like a glove..
