I got some Humbrol 98 and 29 also the tamiya paint XF68, XF3 and XF1, mixed the 98 5 parts to 29 4parts and this is what comes out, I have not seen this colour so hope it is right.

Can anyone let me know if it looks close Thanks.

The color would appear to be a nice shade of bronze-green Richard but I am not an expert on the intricacies of BA greens and drabs I am afraid. Should it be completely matt or would it be a satin shade?

 Cheers

Colour looks a good representation of SCC2 to me.....With some filters and streaking it should look the business.  :coolio:

Thanks Sgt, yes will have to use some filters/washes, do have some MIG (AMMO),True Earth, Ultimate weathering wash and AK Interactive to play with, not done to much with any of these so will just see.

Have done some small parts to the on going build, did fid this picture on the web and I am using it as a reference

There is a black box which goes behind the fuel tank, would this be for the batteries?? if it is this his how I built it

Just found this thread!

Utterly wow. Your imagination and skill are an inspiration. I know nothing about lorries or cranes, so if you don't mind I'll sit at the back and just watch a master at work. :o
