I have been away for a while but keeping busy. These are the 1/12 kits from Bandai.

R2 looking a bit worse for wear and 3PO with only a light tarnish overall.

The Y-Wing is next onto my bench... it looks a bit more complex that these two!

I do like the look of these!

-what did you use for the subtle tarnish on 3PO?

(I have this one ready to go and have been wondering what would be best to get the kind of look you've achieved here)

Hello Bill - I used a thin wash of Sepia ink - Artist's Spectrum is the brand I used. I may go over him again with a wash made up from Vallejo pigments. He is still a little clean for my liking.

a superb pair - real film prop standards - best I've seen so far - grim and dust just makes them feel as real as the sandcrawler settings

Thanks for the kind words. I am really enjoying these Bandai kits. They are really shake and bake models that are so well engineered.
