Touvdal Posted December 12, 2015 Share Posted December 12, 2015 Just fished these build OOB. Nakajima B5N2 (Kate), Hasegawa AI-301 was the a/c of Lt. Cmdr. Mitsuo Fuchida, the Hikotaicho (flight leader) of the Akagi Air Group and flew as the observer in this machine. The photo was taken during a foray into the Indian Ocean. Mitsubishi Ki-51 (Sonia), Hasegawa 23rd Shinbu-tai, flow by Capt. Yoshio Itsui 32-year-old Captain Yoshio Itsui, who took off from Chiran Air Base on April 1, 1945, to attack US forces south of Kerama Island in a Kamikaze mission. cheers Jes 25 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
