Caerbannog
Not too impressed too. MIG 31 is interesting but we will have to see the plastic and the price. Personally I like the look of the IAR-80 (although the colour schemes of that type are not my cup of tea for some reason). Lets hope they know (and used) Radu Brinzans book. The good thing is: I will not be bothered too much if they screw anything up again...

Julien
I hope the Fullback is accurate! I cant see the MiG-31 being better than the AMK though. Julien

VMA131Marine
Please, please do not screw up these Fitters, the Foxhound, the Su-27's , the La-11 and the Fullback!!!! No need to worry about the Foxhound as the just released AMK kit is very accurate, probably cheaper, and likely to be vastly superior to the Hobby Boss kit, if and when it is released.
VMA131Marine
I'm guessing, based on the positive reviews of the Trumpeter 1/72 kits, that the Flankers will be good. The MiG-31 would have to be spectacular for it to be preferred over the AMK kit. The Bf 109G-2/6 will probably have the same deficiencies as the 1/32 kits so I see nothing to look forward to here since the Zvezda and retooled Eduard kits are due next year. That leaves the Su-22s, the IAR.80, and the La11 as the subjects I'll be interested in next year. Unless there are more new releases not shown yet, there does seem to have been a dramatic decline in new kit output from Trumpeter/Hobbyboss over the last couple of years. VMA131Marine
Great some more pre-Dreadnoughts and her sister ship HMS Agamemnon along with SMS Seydlitz in 1:350!
JeffreyK
U-2R is the only thing of interest to me, but it had been mentioned/rumoured a while ago so it's not a big surprise. I do wonder though how it will turn out, how many corners will be cut...? I'll buy one anyway. The Su-34 is a bit of a statement - not my subject, but definitely some wow-factor. MiG-31? No chance against AMK for "serious" modellers. But Trumpy/HB cater for the home (i.e. Chinese) and "casual" market and even though AMK is located in Macao I'd venture a guess with assuming that they're more interested in the abroad and "serious" markets so perhaps they don't really compete with each other... New 1:72 Skyhawks. Not my scale, but interesting. I built a Fujimi Skyhawk back when it was new (and I was I think still in my teens!) and I still think it's an amazing kit, way ahead of its time. Giorgio N
The problem with the 1/72 A-4 and MiG-19 is that they've been announced a while ago and in the meantime nothing has appeared....

VMA131Marine
Not to mention HMS Tiger, We still need a decent Revenge-class battleship in ANY scale. After all this time, it's hard to believe the 1/500 Frog kit is all there is in plastic.
Shar2
The thing is, we're getting ships released in 1:350 that I never thought I'd see in my lifetime, so there's still a real chance that the RN will be properly represented now, and that the R class, more pre-dreadnoughts and battlecruisers will be released one day.
