Hello,

This Tamiya one just about to be completly finished. Just few little details and dirt to add, but it's more or less how i'm imagining it !!!

Thanks for looking and for the Wembley support !!!

Your paint job is wonderful! What did you use for the final clear coat? It reflects nicely like the real thing without looking to shiny.

Thanks Dale,

No clear at this stage; i don't like using it. Just clothe polished a bit...

Very nice, although strictly speaking, it's an A-8/R7 or R8 if it's got the extra armour fitted.

thanks

I'm sure we've had this discussion before ...but according to Rodeike's 'Jagdflugzeug 190' the key change for the R8 relates to the uprated TU or TS engine to replace the BMW 801 D - if available.... There were other detail amendments for 'R8' mainly involving additional internal armour protection (for the oil cooler) which would not be an issue for the modeller..

I'm going off the official designations, as I've always said, what happened in real life could have been different with all the confusion in the last year of the war...

thanks

WOW. I don't know which is the more outstanding. The model, or the photography?!
