Tim Moff
Got some time on the decals today - not great pics, but you get the gist. Decals went on fine with Micro Set and I used Sol after; Funny thing whilst placing the canopy warning decal, I found a bit of masking tape that had not been removed.... Next up will be another Klear coat to seal. I plan to do a tiny bit of weathering around the heat shields, otherwise keep it fairly unweathered - is it worth a floreys wash? I am not too sure - its raised detail, plus the aircraft seem to be spick and span....views appreciated! Need to finish the tank, CATM9 and ACMI TACTS pods and add the Ae's/Pitot last thing. Varnish - Matt or satin? All refs look matt? Getting there! Edited January 13, 2016 by Tim Moff
modelling minion
Looks very good Tim. As for the finish I agree with you, the aircraft does appear to have a matt finish. Craig.

Tim Moff
Canopy masks off and some tidying up and buffing up. Touched up some frame areas. Tank and rail completed and also washed with some Floreys dark dirt - tanks always seem to get messy. Arrestor hook, CATM9 and ACMI TACTS completed. Just need to add some Ae's and the pitot plus armament. Noticed my jet does not have what I think is the RWR blips on the nose/heat shield. Think its starting to get there!
