speedy Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) Folks I'm doing ZA254 in the roll out scheme. I'd like to know the mark of Sidewinder that's fitted for the early days. On google and book references I've seen a very rounded head winder with the front aero foils being almost triangle. These were fitted for the rollout in Aug 1979. Secondly and more common has a more streamlined head and is painted blue, the front aero foils have a slight kink in them. Are these available in 1/32? Any help appreciated. Dazza Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) AIM-9G would've been the missiles at roll-out date, 9L's didn't arrive until the early 80's. Zactomodels do the neccessary missile variants in 1/32... http://www.zactomodels.com/html/AIM-9/Sidewinders.htm -Daz Edited November 15, 2015 by Dazza 2
