Supermarine Swift FR.5, Airfix, No 2 Sqn

I think that is the best Swift I've seen so far, scale weathering is spot on, it actually looks like it is in 1/48.

You say it's OOB but I see a few additions, the Pitot tube, RBF tag, whip aeriels etc, and what looks like a little bit of scratch building on the ejection seat!

Looks amazing, very well done.

The hope of matching your prowess is one of the things that keeps me trying. Your work is one of, if not the best in 1/72 I've ever seen, and this beauty is a testament to your skill.

Absolutely superb. I'm absolutely blown away by the level of detail in the paint finishing - just stunning. Top, top work...simply wonderful.

That is a splendid looking Swift, Matthias. Beautifully done.

There has been much grumbling about the integration of the cockpit and nose wheel well into the forward fuselage on that kit. Your thoughts??

Thanks for posting!

Wow, the swift doesn't really do it for me, but after seeing this, I want to get one!

Love the way you have painted and weathered it, looks like you've added rivet lines too?

Inspiration doesn't come much more tightly packed than this :)
