mathy
Hi, after many years I build only in 1:48 scale, here my first kit in 1:72. I choose the new and nice Swift FR.5 Kit by Airfix. Build it OOB. Here the result.

Rich G
I think that is the best Swift I've seen so far, scale weathering is spot on, it actually looks like it is in 1/48. You say it's OOB but I see a few additions, the Pitot tube, RBF tag, whip aeriels etc, and what looks like a little bit of scratch building on the ejection seat! Looks amazing, very well done. spike52656
The hope of matching your prowess is one of the things that keeps me trying. Your work is one of, if not the best in 1/72 I've ever seen, and this beauty is a testament to your skill. Meatbox8
Absolutely terrific. The weathering is superb and demonstrates beautifully the affect of flying fast and low in NW Europe.

Spitfire31
Mindblowing attention to detail and emulation of a real aircraft surface. Inpiring and humbling at the same time. If this is OOB, I wonder what it would look like if you really got down to it. ;-) Kind regards, Joachim

David H
That is a splendid looking Swift, Matthias. Beautifully done. There has been much grumbling about the integration of the cockpit and nose wheel well into the forward fuselage on that kit. Your thoughts?? Thanks for posting! david Edited November 15, 2015 by David H
woody37
Wow, the swift doesn't really do it for me, but after seeing this, I want to get one! Love the way you have painted and weathered it, looks like you've added rivet lines too? Inspiration doesn't come much more tightly packed than this
