Dads203
Very small update this afternoon, I've been adding the springs that lock the thermal cover into place on the barrel, 5A fuse wire and to be honest these are about as small as I can go with the things. I have 3 more to make for the rest of the barrel. More later Dan

Dads203
Nice. Cheers Phil, So the Cupola is now finished, added the sight cover and scratched the weather seal on the hinge from brass shimming material, took several attempts but this one worked okay. Richard E
Very impressed: details, details and yet more details. Is there any way you could display the commander figure outside the vehicle so it doesn't obscure the detail inside the turret?
Dads203
Cheers Guys, As for the commander figure I'm not sure yet Richard I have a few other figures in the stash and might try something else yet. So a little update today, the rear engine doors have had handles added with the retaining chains. The spotlight mount has been reworked to resemble something a bit more like the real deal. The recess for the travel lock reworked with magic sculpt. Crew heater exhaust clamps added, these two parts took over an hour to bend and glue to the pipe. And the drivers hatch rain strip added. Cheers for looking Dan
Hamden
Don't know if you know or not the chains on the rear engine access doors hold the locking bolts. There is one top and bottom of each door and all should have chains fitted. Hope that makes sense. This M60 gets more and more life like each time I drop in here! Engineer66
Excellent work Dan. The canvas covers on the mantlet really look effective, they really should look the part with a spot of paint on them. Al
