MADMUSKY Posted November 11, 2015 Share Posted November 11, 2015 Hi Folks Having had a AA Chieftain MK10 conversion hidden away for a while i decided to dig it out and start it, building the lower half with the kit suspeneion then taking lower hull and adding the AA upper hull, ive found it dosent fit. I align the rear and have a gap of at least 5mm at the front, if i align the front the rear sits too far away from the rear. Has anyone else had this problem!! Dads203 Posted November 11, 2015 Share Posted November 11, 2015 Hi Darren, very common problem mate, the upper hull casting is big and warps, boiling hot water and heat proof fingers are the order of the day fella and you'll kick yourself on how easy it is to fix. The warp on my MK 11 started around the drivers compartment to the rear of the turret race, I fine tuned the mud guards with the Mrs hair dryer.
