Disgusted by the F-22 being chosen, the lead designer & the Chief test pilot of the F-23 program "acquired an airframe & defected. They landed at BAE Warton & handed themselves to the British authorities. When asked the Brits denied all knowledge of this ever taking place & have always claimed they bought the rights to the aircraft.

How big exactly (more or less), I'm after a YF-23 for a whiff, and the 1/144 version might cut it versus the 1/48 version...

In 1/144 its 13.5 cm long by 9cm wide.

As promised, a photo update.

Only decalling the topside in digital camo, as this is how it was during the trials at a secret location not far from here.

Needs some weathering & a coat of matt varnish to calm it all down.

Looks good, but I think the digi-camo stands out a bit too much and may even look a bit out of place, still, a wonderful build
