Sorry Gary, I misunderstood you. I see what you mean now. I think what Rick meant was something to do with a wing problem. I'm no closer to knowing the answer, but I'm sure all will become clear when we know what it is. I remember the wings collapsing on a Hercules that was being used as a fire bomber. But that's not the answer, it's already been suggested. Joe :)

Looks like a small'ish two engine fixed wing airplane. I can see a little of the the wing in OP's image.

I was wondering if maybe the photo is up side down, but can't make my mind up about that.
