Since the return of the ESCI/Italeri MB326K, the Impala Mk.2 conversion set is to be changed to a detail set for a more accurate SAAF Impala Mk.2. The set will include a resin ejection seat, bulkhead, nose wheel, cannon barrels, CHAFF/Flare dispensers, 2 x Mk.81LD bombs, 4 x Matra F2 rocket pods, correct wingtip tanks for a late version and a supplementary decal sheet. Here is a picture of the work in progress of the masters.

Some progress on the development of the set. Managed to not needing the entire wingtip tanks, but just converting them. Also added the vents at the rear of the gun pods, and resin replacements for the intake nacelles.

Firstly, a comparison pic of the original Mk.2 conversion on the Mk.1 next to the new.

The decals will be done soon and here a test shot of it. I'm also nearly done with the instruction sheet.
