Pretty sure it'll be the Provost. Mel said he'd upscale it if the '72 kit sold sufficiently well.

I'll buy one in '48 for sure.

well if it's from S&M then you can assume it will have some ground accessories too....like tie down cables :analintruder::whistle:

They were next to us last year - nice chaps - I hope whatever it is, it's a cracker.

Forget the S&M project!

Having already designed the S&M 1/72nd Provost kit (http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234984749-172-percival-provost-tmk1-by-sm-models-released/), MikroMir is to re-edit the exercice but this time in 1/48th and under its own label.

Release in 2017.

I hope this kit doesn't suffer from a cockpit that's too shallow like its 1/72rh sibling does: I found the remains of one of my old Matcbox Provosts t'other day and the difference in cockpit depth between it and the MikroMir/S&M kit is quite noticeable.  Not going to stop me buying one or three though.....😉

Oh yes! One of my favourite airframes! Already have three of the 1/72 S&M kit and seven Matchbox kits (still a nice kit!) I'll take three of the 1/48 version please! ;)

Can we have a 1/24 Provost from Airfix now?

Yes please if not 1/24 at least 1/32......

a nifty nice looking aircraft rich in history.....

Agreed! A 1/32 Provost would be very nice. As you say, rich in history and colour schemes. I've got Maurice Landi to thank for my love of the Provost. If Matchbox hadn't released their kit, I may have not discovered it. I remember buying it as a kid becasue it was something other than a Bf 109 or Spitfire, and it became my favourite model for quite some time.
