Giorgio N
FINALLY ! The SF.260 has been in service for decades with a large number of air forces, we finally have a new injected kit after the various cottage industry kits in resin, vacform, fibreglass (yes, there was even a fibreglass kit). Need 3 at least, Italian, Irish and at least one from some African user
Truro Model Builder
I've always considered the SF.260 to be a really sweet looking aircraft; delighted to see one in IM 1/72. Irish Air Corps for me, probably.
Kampartiger
Hopefully it will come with armaments especially for the TurboProp version!(maybe a common sprue for that for both kits)

Giorgio N
Glad to see that the TP (turboprop) variant is also going to be released. Now the problem will be, get this now or wait for the SH kit later ? Guess that in the end I'll get this one now and then also get the SH later... and then for the following ones I'll see which ones is better.
Uncle Dick
The box artist certainly has an unhealthy fixation for depicting the aircraft from the underwing aspect - all six releases in fact, the clean configurations suggest no ordinance on the exotics, SH should at least correct the unimaginative box art, lets hope for some extra sprue for ordnance and mounts when SH come to play with it .... Branky
Well, if the wait for Special Hobby on this one is just as long as their once announced 1/48 Dornier Do24...
AMB
From the start of this thread, it's only taken five years to develop! Hope the wait will be worthwhile. I hope they do a boxing with decals for the Belgian Air Force " Diables Rouges" team? Edited September 10, 2020 by AMB

Borisz
10 hours ago, Giorgio N said: They should not be, as the two companies are unrelated. That would be more interesting. I dont think thats just coincidence. I mean what are the odds that two czech companies release the same subject in the same time? I guess KP will sale a downgraded one and SH the multimedia version. Anyway we will see it soon.

Dennis_C
Okay. Classical Czech battle!!! We need to see the quality of the KP one. Sometimes they produce better kits, sometimes worse.
