Shide58 Posted October 28, 2015 Share Posted October 28, 2015 For your consideration. An Airfix seafire FR 46 built some time ago. More or less made straight out of the box. Exceptions are an aftermarket rear canopy and decals. I worked out the exhausts with a mini drill and put plastic strip over the seat to represent a harness. I also flattened the tyres a bit to make it 'sit' better,. Note that for the pics the canopy is just resting on the fuselage so looks a bit skewhiff in some pics. Sky undersides and upper sea grey were gunze sanyo and the slate grey (green to my eyes) was airfix. Finished off with a coat of clear gunze sanyo semi-gloss.
