Edge
Hi I'm trying to work out if FAA Corsairs with the 'clipped' wing tips had identification lamps fitted? I've just sliced the necessary from a 1/72 Tamiya kit I'm working on, which means the original moulded detail for these lamps has gone. Did the original modifiers fit other lamps inboard, or did they do without? Thanks Edge

Don149
Hi Edge, I have an original Pilots Notes/Handbook for the FAA Corsair. The photo in the front clearly shows a wingtip nav. light approx. 15 inches back from the pitot. If you have difficulty , just paint them on with glossed over dark red. Happy modelling!.
