Nocoolname
Hi Folks! I have the Revell 1/32 Jet Ranger model in the stash but never liked the shallow landing skids that came with the kit and would prefer to replace them with the taller skids available on some models or, even better, the floats seen on some of the rescue choppers. Question is: does anyone know if such options exist as AMS? If they don't I will look to create my own as 3D prints but the AMS route would be easier (and more likely to be of better quality than I can produce) so I would prefer to start there. Cheers for now!!
k5054nz
I've asked before and it seems no - the only option for high skids is to make your own. Please keep us posted with your work - I have no doubt others would be glad to purchase skids should you make them.
GeejeeZ
An answer after a few years... hope someone might still benefit from this. I had the same problem of the low skids on my Revell JetRangers and eventually found this possibility: HeliScaleQuality: http://www.heli-scale-quality.com/bell-206-jet-ranger.html (scroll down). I ordered some and they do give the old Revell a far better appearance. HTH btw: I have no business or commercial link to these guys!
