PanzerG
And the belly: Now I am trying the Bera Karoly's method before spraying the second layer. It's not too hard... once you have find the proper paint dilution! :-) Any remark, advice or comment are welcome!! See you

PanzerG
And zoom on the right wing: My phone give really better pictures than my camera, or I haven't find the good settings yet... the bluish one was shot with my canon, and the two others with my samsung!! Any advice please? It seems worn and far too much dirty but it is just an intermediate step. Tomorrow I will post the pictures of the same work on the wings. Now I am painting the final layer of rlm 76 on the belly and the result is not so bad! Good night everyone! PZR
PanzerG
Hello Sorry for the delays, good things have an end also and I holidays are memories now. But I have shot some more pics this sunday: First an overview the left wing now And the right one...(no I don't think you are dumbies :-) ) It was the opportunity for me to try the method with salt(on the root of the wings) and it didn't work very well. I have to train on my poor 1/72 f 117. ( his only quality is to give me a support for all tests and ideas :-) ) That's all, in the next post I will show the results on the belly. Good night!
PanzerG
Hi!! This is now the final rlm 76 coat for the belly. I am happy with the final aspect, it was more or less what I expected. I struggle with myself not to peel off the masks because they are really usefull to handle the model :-) but I can't wait seeing what it will be with the helvetic colors and the yellow nose! Child enthousiasm? I hope that weathering will not fade the contrasts too much. Good evening PZR

PanzerG
Hello! I am back with new things. All the camo scheme is painted now and the decals are between two Tamiya x22 layers. Eduard's stencils are nice to work with, they are thin and adapts very well to any relief. I did also scratches and exhausts stains. Some pics: I'm gonna post more pics tomorrow. It is not easy to make convincing scratches with a lighter grey than the original colour. I also tried ammo of mig panel liner directly on the paint, without gloss coat prior to it... and the paint really didn't like it!! Thanks God it was just on a little hidden place :-)
PanzerG
I am now masking the rudder, the elevator and the ailerons before working with tamiya x19: I am quietly approaching the end of this build. Next steps are some effects with x19, then an overall gloss coat, panel liner everywhere, satin coat, some fuel and oil stains, matt coat on some places... and finally putting on all the little pieces like pitot, antennas, propeller or undercarriage. Any comment, remark or advice? Good night to everyone! PZR

PanzerG
Hello! I am back with some good step forward in spite of some problems like that: I said some rude words but the problem is solved now. I also had to deal with other little isues like too much sanding (even if I used micromesh 12000 sandpaper) resulting in bare plastic. Or some disappointement with ammo mig panel liner which is very aggressive. But things are turning good, and I am going to post some more pictures. PanzerG
Thanks Michael(very nice profile picture ;-) ) ! I go on and I will finish this model soon, it's the only one I am working on now. Some more pics of x19 work: X19 is really a wonderfull tool and it's possible to achieve really subtle effects when used properly. I am now varnishing the model with a satin coat, making oil and kerosene stains and assembling the undercarriage. In the next post I will show some pics of the gear legs and wheels. Good night to every one! Edited March 13, 2016 by PanzerG
PanzerG
Hello! I am back with a really nice news: it is almost finished!! Youhouu! A zoom on some pieces first: The wheels have some impressive thin molded details like the inscriptions on the side of the tire... how can eduard do it?? some more pics this afternoon PZR
PanzerG
I continue with focus on the undercarriage: And the bird nearly done: It looks like a helvetic 109 nope? ;-) PZR
