Homebee
The explanations: https://www.facebook.com/wingmanmodels/posts/456461264540603 Dear all! Today we have something special for you. We all know that Tamiya's 1/48 scale F-16C is the best on the market and unrivaled so far. We decided to produce a F-16D/DJ double-seat conversion for Tamiya's gem, mating the Tamiya fuselage with the Kinetic twin-seater. The outcome is brilliant – especially as Kinetic, our partner in Hong Kong, provided us with clear canopies made from ejection plastic, while Ra'anan Weiss did a marvelous job scratch building our masters. Can you see the crisp surface detail and fantastically reproduced details of the seat and both cockpit tubs? However, the most important info for you is that we were able to retain Tamiya's correct nose contour, only adding the new cockpit to the fuselage omitting Kinetic's F-16 shape problems. Voilá, the perfect addition for your collection of modern jet models! This Wingman Models resin conversion (WMF48035) will be available at Telford ... or in a few days on our website www.shopofphantoms.com. Cheers! Jens
I can't see a new tail fin base in the pictures so I guess they meant Block 25/30. Jens
Shaun
Has anyone used this conversion yet?,What the fit like?.Its quite expensive.
Boman
I've bought it and it looks very nice. The shap issues that plagued the earlier block 40/42 release seems to be fixed. As for the block discussion, the block 20/25/30 are identical so covers all. Planning to build a RNoAF F-16B with mine, providing it goes together as good as advertized. Fall back plan is to build it as a block
