Martin B-10 / W139 - details wanted

Hello colleagues,

on behalf of my club mate from Marabu Design, we are trying to locate accessible information on this bird, preferably W 139H-2, for preparation of etched and probably resin detail sets for 1/72 William Bros kit. What we basically need is good set of scale drawings and photograhps showing the exterior details. Is there anyove more knowledgeable who may point us towards books, publications, mags or websites?

Many thanks in advance,

Libor

I might have some old Air Combat, Wings or Airpower magazines with some details. My fuzzy brain seems to remember photos of the NEIAF ones, anyway. I've got hundreds of them so it would take some time to look. If I find them I'll let you know. Marabu Designs do nice work, I have used some of their PE on the Airfix Swordfish and Gladiator. Would like to see something for the basically sound old Williams Brother kit, though I'd prefer for a US one, personally. the Blue and yellow paint made for an attractive aircraft!.

The 139WH-2 had longer nacelles over the wing, and engine cowlings that looked more like those on the B-17. By the way, you can do the Dutch Martin in the same blue and yellow scheme as used by the USAAC.

Here's a rough plan I did in an old IPMS/USA Quarterly:

I can't really help with info..I know someone who has a lot of detail stuff on the B-10, but he has his own PE/Resin outfit, and has been considering doing a set himself.

That said, an aftermarket resin set for the Williams Bros. kit would be most appreciated. The kit has decent basic shapes, but desperately needs replacement engines, props, and exhausts. Of course the interior is largely non-existent as well.
