Gumbie Air Services
I am looking for the best matches for interior colours for various aircraft. I'm using acrylic paints, preferably Vallejo. I have found U.S. interior green and green zinc chromate, but I need U.K. greens and German and Russian too. Humbrol 78 seems OK for U.K., but how accurate is it? Thanks... Graham Boak
It's good. At least the enamel one is, I can't speak for the acrylic.
Fernando
Hi, Gumbie, For the Germans, go for RLM02 and 66 of ANY brand, they should be in the ballpark for cockpit interior work. For Soviet WWII colours, you'll have to rummage through dozens of pages in dozens of sites to even get an idea of what colour you are looking for, let alone find a suitable commercial hobby paint to suit. Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies
I can't help with acrylics (try to avoid them - we don't get on) but have good matches for most nationalities.
dragonlanceHR
For VVS aircraft you need A-14, a steel grey colour. Best Vallejo match is 71.097. Vedran The milimeter brigade
