Slater
Do any of the two-place Typhoons (from any nation) have a tactical role or are they strictly test/training/familiarisation?
RichardPrice
They are combat capable, but no current operators employ them outside of the training role currently.
Gary West
What Richard says - As our Air Force diminishes in size we dont have the luxury of not having combat suited front line types any more.
Flektor
The single and twin cockpit versions are identical in capability.
Boman
Modern twoseaters today are usually fully combat coded, meaning they can carry anything the single seater does - except the same amount of fuel.
Slater
Revell's 1/32 two-seat Typhoon comes with an impressive array of external stores. Presumably that would be unrealistic for current two-seaters?
PhantomBigStu
I doubt out twin sticks are combat capable, seeing as we can't even manage to get the single seaters systems on schedule
dpm1did1
The many pix of squadron 2 seaters invariably carry just tanks and AAMs. Anything else is very rare and is usually being hung from a test bird. As noted they are very capable of doing the FG role, but rarely do, especially as the current users don't use them as full replacements for the Tornados etc. Maybe one day they'll be a '2 seat strike Typhoon' but I doubt it'll be a European one the way things are going, more likely an enhanced export.
