QuoteQuoteViasistina, on 03 Nov 2015 - 01:22 AM, said:GRand Models is a new manufacturer of aircraft model kits, based in Tripoli, Greece. Its first model kit is the Beechcraft T-6A/NTA Texan II, famous military trainer/light attack aircraft, in 1/72 scale. It is the first time that a kit manufacturer decides to make a model of this important military trainer in this scale. Grand Models T-6A kits (also new/future release Grand Model kits in 1/72 scale, conversion sets and the finished T-6 models) will be shown at the IPMS-UK ScaleModelWorld event at Telford (7th & 8th November 2015 - look for the GasPatch Models in the exhibitors list – common booth). You are welcome to visit us and talk over our future projects! Orders/Sales: [email protected] (Christos Koutalianos, General Manager) Best Regards, V.P. Homebee
Source: https://www.facebook.com/grandmodels.gr Decals for TF-102? (3 nations) Almost ready.....!!!! Source: http://www.aeroscale.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=20862 Grand Models TF-102 Conversion Kit (suitable for MENG F-102 kits) The second release of Grand Models in 1/72 scale is a much-awaited conversion set for MENG’s fine F-102 Delta Dagger kit, in a two-seat trainer, offering an ideal solution for those who would like to add a unique TF -102 to their collection! The MENG kit is relatively new (2012 release) and comes in two codes, differing only in the upward or downward shape of F-102 wingtips (code X and XX). This is an excellent kit, with thin plastic, fine engraved panel lines, perfect fit and very good detail. The Grand Models conversion kit is in resin, with a perfectly clear vacuformed canopy (in two parts that can be cemented in open/closed position) plus photo-etched parts for instrument panels and consoles in the cockpit. Further detail includes two extremely detailed ejection seats and an instructions sheet. The resin nose and front section of the new fuselage come in a single "hollow" piece, meaning it saves cutting, curving, sanding and precious time (and also saves valuable weight, compared with solid resin solutions of the past). The fitting of the resin nose to the Meng fuselage is very good. A thin razor saw is recommended to cut the Meng’s plastic and then a careful join using cyanoacrylate glue (alternatively 5 minutes epoxy glue, giving more time for repositioning/aligning). Grand Models’ TF-102 conversion set for Meng kit will be shown for the first time in SMW2015 (7th & 8th November) in Telford (both as a kit and as a finished model). Please come and visit us at the Gaspatch Models/Grand Models common booth, Hall 3. Price is 22 euros. More information and orders directly at Grand Models: [email protected]orwww.grandmodels.gr V.P.
