1/48 Siebel Si-204, Aero C-3 by Special Hobby

Recommended Posts

The SNCAC 70x had three blade propellers. The 204 D1 produced during the war (by SNCAC) had two blade ones.

There was a difference in the D series, where for the D3 parts of the wings and empennage was built from wood, rather than metal (D1). If this resulted in optical differences I don't know (and don't want to speculate).

D3 were only built by Aero I. Small number (during the war).

As SH only markets their Si 204 as 'D' it's not clear what it is in fact (assuming there were visual differences between D1 and D3).

Oob. it will not be possible to build a post war SNCAC 701. But somehow I suspect SH will take care of this later.
