Standa Hajek, our trusty collaborator and excellent artist has just handed in his latest masterpiece, the SH48170 Siebel Si 204D boxtop art. While Special Hobby’s 1/48 kit of this WW2 German two engine transport aeroplane is scheduled for a June 2019 release, our team are working on several other projects at the same moment too. The toolmakers are currently not just assembling the Si 204 moulding tools, they are being focused on the 1/72 Night Fighter Meteors moulds too. The image below shows the Meteor fuselage galvanic mould, or one half of it with its parting plane covered with special deep blue ink which, while being pressed against the other half, shows the very spots on the parting plane surface which needs more attention and levelling. The clear parts mould photo brings the alternative nose section of the Siebel Si 204E/C-3B bomber version as well as the clear canopy part of a model which we are preparing for another Czech model company. The remaining blank space in the moulds is intended clear parts of our upcoming 1/72 Potez 25 models. The moulding blocks for these parts will be cut on milling machine and just then inserted into this bigger mould.

A portion of this appears briefly in the video posted from Special Hobby from their booth for the Nurenberg Toy Fair.  From what is shown it looks to have an amazing amount of detail.  Very excited about this😀
