DIVER DOWN!

...moving towards completion. Have had this on a number of forums and now BM for the big finish.

Been done a number of ways , Comets , etc. My rendition is with Eduards Tempest, flaws and all. I did use the AC fuse 'correction' and extended the fuse as well as build time!

Wheels up , at speed. A rare Teknics pilot gesturing offering has been used. The prop treatment is one I thought a lot about , researching the ways that have been done , there is little that is 'new' in model techniques , so I did the best I could.

Any way here are the pix from the start:

Internet and Pbucket slow today but I'll try to get this up...

Looking good Steve :)

I like the look of the prop... could you please point me (and others newbies to this technique) at a link with step by steps? Thanks in advance.

Thank you ,Ced.

No link. My own way of doing it, from seeing how it has been done by many others. I added a few more pix to the prop posting. Scroll through them to see the progression. I cut the clear shapes on my vinyl cutter , laying them out in SignLab. I laid out several different widths as shown , choosing the smallest as I thought that looked the best. The clear shapes were carefully edge-sanded and attached to a rack for finishing.

Airbrushed the black and yellow as I thought they looked best.

Clear coated (dipped) at least 20 times with Future.

What great work and good use of third party items you have going on there - I have enjoyed looking through your work. I like the idea od the wing-tipping of the V-1 - don't those doodle bugs look menacing.....

I am not an expert on the selection of propeller spinning products on the market other than Propblur which I once used - I love the method you have used - it looks very authentic

Good luck with the remainder of your build

John

This looks absolutely fantastic!

Re your problems with Photobucket; stop using IE as browser. No problems encountered with Firefox. I shared your frustration until I read the advice here somewhere and made the switch. Regards, V-P
