spitfire1677 Posted September 21, 2015 Share Posted September 21, 2015 Hi all, Here is my F4F-4 built straight out of the box and weathered a wee bit: A cracking wee kit, which for some reason has been in my stash for a few years now. I got the insperation for building this from Jen Wrights article in the new AMW magazine. I used various paints for this build, firstly it was given a complete coat of A.MIG-221 Zinc Cromate Yellow, then added some chipping with Humbrol Maskol. I ummed and ahhed about pre-shading but decided to do it, this was done with a dark grey paint, the underside was then painted VMA 01 White and the upperside A.MIG-210 Grey Blue.
