Tail-Dragon
On my bench now is the original 1996 issue of Dragons StuG III ausf A. It's finished in the original RAL 7017 (Signal brown) over Panzer grey. I'll be using "Star decals" "STURM!" decal set. I've added part of Eduards photoetch set, and scratch built the tow cable (from fine solder), the jacking block, and the 4 tow shackle pins (hanging on their chains in above photo). I've also made the 5 smoke canisters from sprue, with chains twisted from fine copper wire. Hopefully it will be finished in a week or so ... hope you enjoy. Tail-Dragon
Are the tracks Fruils or OOB? They look very convincing! Thanks! The tracks are the OOB plastic individual links - painted with acrylics and given an oil pin wash. I really like the indy link tracks, and wish Dragon would include them in the later releases as an option, rather than just the DS tracks. But they do take a lot of time ...
