Old foxtrot
Hi all, I see Acadamy have just released an M60 a2. Does anyone know if this is a re-release of the terrible old Tamiya kit? Been wanting to build a decent kit of this for years.
Sgt.Squarehead
I'd be interested to know more too.
Vlamgat9
It has nothing to do with the Tamiya kit. It's a brand new tool. I have one on order as it is a real fave tank of mine.
Old foxtrot
Hopefully Nigel at parrabellum will have one in, will pop by when I come off duty tomorrow and have a look. Been desperate for a decent a2 for years.....come on AFV club!!!
Sgt.Squarehead
If you do pick one up I'd love to see some photos of the parts.....I'm looking for a victim for Objekt 279 and I reckon the 'Starship' is sufficiently out-there for a 70s/80s WWIII WHIF. I'd really like to see some interior detail or at least a turret interior, but it seems such things are usually the remit of the aftermarket brigade in 1/35.
Vlamgat9
There's a review on Cybermodeler with sprue shots http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/aca/kit_aca_13296.shtml
