wavodavo
What's the best way of putting a decal on top of another decal without disturbing the one underneath? Dave
Black Knight
Just let the first one dry well and not use too much water or setting solution when putting on the second.

colin
If it's a large/same size decal that's going over the other, seal it with a thin coat of gloss varnish before you apply the next one. That is if your worried it may lift the first one when you apply any decal solution to get it to lay down over the kit detail

Would Klear be any good?

Would think so, did you seal the the original paint with it, or have you used a gloss coat

Black Knight
I didn't suggest sealing with Klear or varnish as that adds an extra layer, which if not perfect can affect the look of the top decal.
Homerlovesbeer
I agree with the Black Knight. Let the first decal dry properly and simply apply the second over the top.
stevehnz
When you're adding the red centres to two piece RAF decals, this is exactly what you're doing. I bed my decals in a slightly dilute Klear soln. This dries reasonably quickly, I then apply the red bit just as I did the outer rings. I've never had any hassles with this. Steve.
