rossm
I have just bought the Model Alliance sheet with the Canberra retirement scheme but I'm not sure about the walkways on this aircraft - it seems they could be thick black spanwise lines with chordwise lines at the root or the 'usual' dashed red/yellow lines around the periphery of the wing. Please can anyone enlighten me? TIA, Ross
canberra kid
Hi Ross As you can see from the photo below, the walkways are a solid pail yellow line, the thick dark line is the main spar cap which in common with all latter-day Canberra's had the pain removed to aid with NDT of the spar. More PR.9 reference can be fond on my site here http://ipmscanberrasig.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=12628386 John Edited September 11, 2015 by canberra kid

rossm
Thanks for the info and the photo. What is the best colour to represent the spar cap?
canberra kid
No problems Ross, your best bet for the colour for the spar cap is a dull Aluminium. John
