Seamus
Morning all, Spent a thoroughly enjoyable day at Cosby for the Victory Show yesterday. My first time at the event, and I was thoroughly impressed, with plenty to see, do and photograph both in the air and on the ground. After a long journey back to Devon last night, I've not had much time to edit any shots, but couldn't resist processing one of the absolute star of the show for me, and many others it seems. What a stunning aeroplane Supermarine Seafire LF III PP972/G-BUAR Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr There will be plenty more of both the aircraft and the re-enactments to follow in due course. Thanks for looking, Shaun

My other favourite Warbirds are the Shuttleworth Sea Hurricane and the Kennet Seafire 17! Cheers Tony

Chris Jephcott
Very nice photo! My fiancée comes from the village of Cosby and it was with great regret that we weren't able to go to the show this year!

Seamus
Thank you all, and apologies for the delayed reply. As above,......this is a stunning Warbird and I`d really like to see it flying,....but then I am a Seafire nut! My other favourite Warbirds are the Shuttleworth Sea Hurricane and the Kennet Seafire 17! Cheers Tony You have great taste Tony, having just listed my absolute favourite warbirds on the circuit, although I'd throw in TFC's Corsair too for good measure The reason for my belated show of appreciation is because I was waiting for my images to be used in a review article for Global Aviation Resource. That's now live, so I can share a few more shots on here Supermarine Seafire LF III PP972/G-BUAR Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Supermarine Seafire LF III PP972/G-BUAR Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Supermarine Seafire LF III PP972/G-BUAR Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Supermarine Seafire LF III PP972/G-BUAR Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr North American P-51D Mustang 'Marinell' 413521/G-MRLL Hardwick Warbirds Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr North American P-51D Mustang 'Janie' 414419/G-MSTG Hardwick Warbirds Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr North American P-51D Mustang 'Janie' 414419/G-MSTG Hardwick Warbirds Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Bristol Blenheim IF L6739/G-BPIV Aircraft Restoration Company Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Bristol Blenheim IF L6739/G-BPIV Aircraft Restoration Company Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Hawker Hurricane I R4118/G-HUPW Peter Vacher Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Hawker Hurricane I R4118/G-HUPW Peter Vacher Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress 'Sally B' 124485/G-BEDF Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Gloster Meteor T7 WA591/G-BWMF Classic Air Force Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Gloster Meteor T7 WA591/G-BWMF Classic Air Force Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr North American B-25N Mitchell 232511/PH-XXV Royal Netherlands Air Force Historic Flight Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Supermarine Spitfire IXT ML407/G-LFIX Air Leasing Cosby 06/09/15 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Also, a handful from the ground shows and living history groups, which were all excellent Cosby-2015_Land_100 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Cosby-2015_Land_025 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Cosby-2015_Land_028 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Cosby-2015_Land_031 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Cosby-2015_Land_045 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr Cosby-2015_Land_049 by Shaun Schofield, on Flickr More from both in the air and on the ground can be found by following the Flickr links for those interested. CurrantBunbury
Absolutely brilliant. You've really brought them all to life. I particularly like the tanks and the Seafire, but I think my favourite of all is your shot of the B17. Thanks for sharing these.
Seamus
Thanks very much. We were given a terrific display by Sally B, with plenty of topside as she arced around the small airfield. Great stuff
F4u
Great set of images Shaun ! That Seafire looks lovely I got to see it at Goodwood and it was amazing to see in the flesh hope to see it out and about a bit more next year along with Will Greenwood's Yak. Would love a new tool model of the Seafire in 1/32 !! Guy
