Joss
Little bit of an update, I've got the fuselage together and I've glued the wings to the fuselage. The fit seems good just some sanding to get rid of the join lines Thanks for looking Joss

Joss
1 step forward two steps back... I paint the plane and applied a wash, only to forget to remove the excess wash which has hardened so I can't remove. Like this but dry. So I've stripped the model and put on a new undercoat. Applied a black spray to the panel lines. I was hoping to get a bit more done but I was at goodwood yesterday. It was an amazing display of aircraft! Hope you had a good day of Steve! I'll keep an eye out for your spitfire and your 109 when they're done Joss Edited September 16, 2015 by Joss
Homerlovesbeer
Oh no! That is gut wrenching! Good on you for powering on and having another crack at it. Way to man up!
Joss
So I've done a little more last night I have paint thebpane and done a little bit of highlighting, though the pictures do not do it justice. Also where I have stripped the paint the model isn't 100%. I think I'm going to have just put up with that... Oh no! That is gut wrenching! Good on you for powering on and having another crack at it. Way to man up! Thanks homer! I have to admit I wasnt to happy when I realised what I had done. I thought I would power on now otherwise I would never finish it!

Joss
Haven't posted in a while. I don't have any picture as of yet but I have got the decals on! I managed to break my tablet so I have no way of taking pictures hope to have some up soon Great recovery Joss! I must admit I am really impressed with how quickly you have got this far, took me much longer! Very good work, keep it up. Craig. Cheers Craig! To be honest normally it would take ne about 6 months to get to this point! The group build acts as a great motivator!
Joss
Here are a few pictures of the decals. I used the kits set for the specific aircraft markings and Eduard's for the generic and stencils as I find they are a lot better to work with! So I've just got to seal the decals and onto the washes! I plan to use these.. Has anyone had any experience with them to recommend any tips? Cheers Joss
Joss
It been a while however she is now finish. So here are a few pictures! I know its heavily weather but I got carried away plus I enjoyed experimenting with different techinques. I also stretch plastic for the first time for the antennas which was fiddly but I found it was worth it for the finish result. Im happy with the time i was able to finish this model! Constructive criticism welcome... Also what do I do now that im done? Cheers! Joss
Ozzy
Your finished artical looks fantastic, the weathering doesn't look to much. The aircraft had been blitzkrieing around for a year before the BoB.
