Selwyn
Did the Gazelle have folding rotors? had a good look on the internet and cant find any images showing this. They all seem to have the blades either ready to fly or completely removed. Second question. Where is the refuelling point on a gazelle? bootneck
Gazelle rotors were, usually, only folded when deployed onboard ships as in this view on HMS Intrepid (scroll down). As to the refuelling point, I've regularly been with the FARP (Forward Arming and Refuelling Point) it is on the starboard side, high up and directly above the rear support for the slide. Check out the image of the Royal Navy Sharks in the same link Mike
Wez
Refuel point is on the RHS high up on the fuselage, if you follow Bootneck's link and scroll down to the 7Sqn cab (ZB627), you can see it above the roundel and to the left of the Sqn badge. The big black square with AVTUR painted on it is the giveaway (I know you were a bombhead), the refuelling cap is the silver disc near the top of the square. Dave Fleming
I did once work out there were probably more potential schemes for the Gazelle than any other post war British aircraft

Just a supplementary, open line or pressure refuelling? Selwyn

Selwyn
Do you have a project on the go Selwyn, I'm intrigued! Just thinking about a refuelling diorama. Have got a Bedford tactical refueller in the stash and it may look good with a gazelle or a scout maybe? Selwyn
