activexp
The body went together without any issues although the assembly order shown in the instructions is not ideal. The central wall was awkward to slide into the slots as it's wider at the bottom than the top. Next stage is the roof and ladders etc.

activexp
Ladders and rails fitted. Mudguards and tail lights to add. Cab, mudguards and front bumper (missing a headlight lens ) fitted to the chassis This is the steel mesh supplied in the kit for making the protective grills for the headlights. I won't be doing that. It's very awkward to work with and will end up looking messy. PE would have been a better solution.

MetroRacing
I share your aversion to the horrid metal mesh. The Dakar version has even more and it just looks way over scaled. Shame about the headlight but still looking good Ashley
activexp
Bad news from Revell regarding the missing headlight lens, it's a 'culled' item, no longer available. Not unexpected
louiex2
Check with Paul at Little Cars, he probably has lenses that will work.
activexp
I've managed to make one out of thin clear plastic from a supermarket fruit container. It won't pass close inspection but better than a gaping hole.
