Academy 1 48 Messerschmitt Bf109 G6 - Completed!

Beautiful build. I rarely have the patience to let a kit play out over 3 months. The time you spent shows in the detail. I absolutely love the tension spring for the canopy you made. Brilliant. God bless.

Lovely work Giemme.

I like your technique for the insulators on the aerial, simple but effective.

Al

Cheers Al, thanks! I think the method for insulators (by the way, it's something I copied from another build here on BM, can't remember which, though) it's OK for this scale; you can still have a bit of control and shape the CA drop some way.

:goodjob:

Thanks Shalako! :thumbsup2:

That is really superb giemme. Your attention to detail has certainly paid off! Looking forward to seeing the RFI photos later in the week.:thumbsup:

Kind regards,

Stix

Cheers Stix, thanks very much for your support and appreciation throughout the whole build! :speak_cool: ALso, thanks for the ideas I saw in your builds and stole for mine

John, thank you very much for following and commenting  I seem to be unable to do a (real) quick build, but I really enjoy every minute of it, so ... well, apart when dealing with certain kind of decals :badmood:

RFI thread coming in a couple of days or so. Will also post a link to my new project - stay tuned :D

I'm calling this completed (in a touch less than three months, so this still qualifies as a "quick build" for my standards, right Steve? :D )

Frightening Speed. I have a nose bleed from trying to keep up

Loved this build Giorgio and found it very educational too.

The Italian craftsmen are ruling the roost at the mo'

Thanks for your comments and for following

My turn with a 1/72 build now, will post the link soon.

PS: Silvano really rules the roost, in terms of craftsmanship! I'm still an apprentice ...
