Marcel
Because of the Eduard’s Spitfire Mk.IX in the pipeline I decided to finish my last Hasegawa. I used Quickboost Prop and exhausts, Eduard Zoom and Tamiya and Gunze paints. The decals are from the new Airfix Spitfire IX boxing (I don’t like the kit but the decals are fantastic). Anyway here she is: A GC I/7 "Provence" machine, Dijon, September 1944.
f4h1phantom
Absolutely beautiful! The aftermarket prop helps greatly to make it look just terrific. Congrats and thanks for posting, Jorge.

WildeSau75
This is a lovely build - like the paint scheme a lot. Can you say more why you don't like the Airfix kit? I have it in the stash and intended to build soon - so any information regarding issues would help. Cheers, Michael
Marcel
Thank you all guys for looking and for your kind words. Michael maybe I am just lazy to make the wheel wells and correct the ailerons. I know the Hasegawa Spitfire is not perfect (it has just different flaws) but I think the details are better. But I have seen many Airfix Spitfires well built!
Potato Pete
That looks absolutely gorgeous. The French roundels look really nice on the mid stone dark earth colours. Pete
